Back to the palace, the prince had a great hunt coming up.
So the Prince had to leave his wife alone in the palace and go to the forest for a few days.
It was during this time that the stepmother and her daughter together went to the palace of the princess.
The princess was kind and forgiving and she easily forgave her stepmother and the other girl for all that they had done to her and welcomed them inside her home.
The princess showed her home to the stepmother and the other daughter.
It was at this time that the princess also took the other two to see a pleasure boat that the prince had made for her.
The three of them were at the shores looking at the boat.
While they were standing on a huge rock the stepmother pushed the princess into the deep water.
Then the stepmother did not even turn back and she fastened the mask on her daughter and arranged for a lace veil over the head of the false princess.
The stepmother warned her own daughter not to talk to anyone and pretend as if she had a toothache.
The stepmother decided to go back to the witch and ask the witch if the witch could remove the spell that the birds had put on her own daughter.
