இளவரசியும் தங்க சிங்கமும் - பாகம் 6

 

மறுநாள் காலையில் அந்த அரசன் அந்த தங்க சிங்கத்தை திரும்ப தன்னுடைய அரண்மனைக்கு எடுத்துச் சென்றார் . அந்தக் கிழவியும் முன்பு கூறியதைப் போல வந்து அந்த சிங்கத்தை வாங்கிக் கொண்டு திரும்பச் சென்றார்.  மூன்றாவது மகன் சிங்கத்திடமிருந்து வெளியே வந்து அந்த கிழவிக்கு மனமார்ந்த நன்றிகளை தெரிவித்தார்.

பிறகு அரண்மனைக்கு திரும்பி வந்து அரசன் கூறிய அந்தப் போட்டியில் தான் கலந்து கொண்ட விரும்புவதாக கூறினார்.

அந்த அரண்மனையில் மூன்றாவது மகன் தங்கியிருந்து அங்கே இங்கே சுற்றிப் பார்ப்பது போல் ஏழு நாட்கள்  நடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார் . அரண்மனையில் கிடைத்த உணவை உண்டு சுகமாக இருந்தார்.

எட்டாவது நாள் அந்த அரசனின் அறைக்குச் சென்று அங்கு தரையில் இருந்த செங்கற்களை அகற்ற கூறினார்.  அந்த அரசன் அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்தாலும் அந்த இளைஞன் கூறியபடி செய்தார்.  அரண்மனை அமைச்சர்களும் அருகில் இருந்த தால் அரசனால் வேறு எதுவும் செய்ய முடியவில்லை . அவர்கள் எதிரில் அரசனால் அந்த செங்கற்களை  அகற்ற முடியாது,  என்று கூறவும் முடியவில்லை.  அரசன் முன்பு சென்ற அதே பாதையில் இளைஞன் செல்ல ஆரம்பித்தார் . படி வழியாக இறங்கி ஏழாவது கதவைத் திறந்து அங்கு உள்ள 12 அழகான பெண்களை பார்த்தார் . பின்னால் வந்து கொண்டிருந்த அரசனுக்கு அதிர்ச்சியாக இருந்தது . ஆனாலும் இந்த 12 பேரில் நிச்சயம் இந்த இளைஞன் தன் மகளை கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாது என்று அந்த அரசன் நம்பினான் . ஆனால் அந்த இளைஞனோ மிகவும் சுலபமாக இளவரசியின் கையை பிடித்துக் கொண்டு வெளியே வந்தார் . அவருக்கு தான் தெரியுமே அந்த இளவரசி கையில் சிவப்பு கயிறை அணிந்திருந்தது .

இவ்வாறாக அந்த மூன்றாவது மகன் அந்தப் போட்டியில் வென்று அந்த இளவரசியை மணந்து,  தன்னுடைய நாட்டிற்கு அழைத்து வந்தான் . என்றாலும் அந்த இளவரசியை கண்டுபிடிக்க முடியாமல் தன் இரண்டு சகோதரர்கள் இறந்தது அவனுக்கு சிறிது வருத்தம் தான்.  ஆனாலும் தன் முயற்சியில் வெற்றி பெற்றதில் மகிழ்ந்திருந்தார்.

தனக்கு உதவி செய்த கிழவியையும் மறக்காமல் அவளுடைய மீதி வாழ்நாட்கள் சுகமாக இருக்கும் படி ஏற்பாடுகளையும் செய்தார்.

இதன் பிறகு அந்த இளவரசியுடன் வெகு காலம் மகிழ்ச்சியோடு வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருந்தார்

 அந்த ஏழாவது கதவை திறந்து கொண்டு அந்த அரசன் பார்த்ததை சிங்கத்துக்கு உள்ளிருந்து இந்த மூன்றாவது மகன் அதிர்ச்சியோடு பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார் . அந்த இளவரசி அங்கு தன்னுடைய 11 தோழிகளுடன் இருந்தார்.

அவர்கள் எல்லோருமே இளவரசி மாதிரியே இருந்ததுடன் அவரைப் போலவே உடையும் அணிந்திருந்தனர் . அதனால் அந்த மூன்றாவது மகனுக்கு இளவரசியை எப்படி அடையாளம் காண்பது என்று தெரியவில்லை . அரசன் தன் மகளைப் பார்த்து”  இந்த சிங்கத்தை இன்று ஒரு நாள் உனக்கு நான் பரிசாக கொடுக்கிறேன்.  நாளை இதை நான் திரும்ப எடுத்துச் சென்று விடுவேன் . ஆகவே இன்று ஒரு நாள் இதை நீ என் பரிசாக வைத்துக் கொள்”  என்று கூறினார் . இளவரசிக்கு அதை பார்த்து பரவசத்துடன் தன் அருகில் அணைத்து வைத்துக் கொண்டு,  அந்த இரவை கழிக்க விரும்பினார் . மூன்றாவது மகன்,  அந்த சிங்கத்துக்குள் இருந்து , அந்த இளவரசியை பார்த்து , “ இளவரசி உங்களை கண்டுபிடிப்பதற்கு நான் எவ்வளவு கஷ்டப் பட்டேன் என்று உங்களுக்கு தெரியாது, “  என்று கூறினார் . அந்த சிங்கம் பேசுவதை பார்த்து இளவரசி அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்தார் . தன் தோழிகளை பார்த்து,  இந்த சிங்கம் பேசுகிறது,  என்று கூறியவுடன் தோழிகள் அந்த இளவரசி உளறுகிறார் என்று நினைத்து,  அவரை தனியாக விட்டுவிட்டு அந்த இடத்தில் இருந்து நகர்ந்தனர் . அந்த சிங்கத்தில் எதுவும் தவறாக இருப்பதாக அவர்களுக்கு தோன்றவில்லை.

இளவரசி தனியாக இருந்தபோது அந்த மூன்றாவது மகன்  சிங்கத்திடமிருந்து வெளியே வந்து,  இளவரசியிடம் வந்து நின்றார். 

அவரைப் பார்த்தவுடன் முதலில் அதிர்ச்சியாக இருந்தாலும்,  பிறகு தன்னை கண்டுபிடித்துவிட்ட அவர் மீது இளவரசிக்கு அவர் மீது

  காதல் வந்தது.  இப்பொழுது தன்னுடைய தந்தையின் பரிட்சையில் இந்த இளைஞன் நிச்சயம் தேடி விடுவான் என்று தெரிந்தது.  ஆனாலும் எப்படி அவர் தன்னை மற்ற 11 தோழிகளிடமிருந்து வேறுபடுத்தி கண்டுபிடிப்பார் , என்ற ஐயம் அவளுக்கு எழுந்தது.  ஆகவே அவர் ,  அந்த மூன்றாவது மகனிடம் “ நாளை நான் இந்த சிவப்பு கயிற்றை என் கையில் கட்டி இருப்பேன் . அதிலிருந்து தாங்கள் என்னை அடையாளம் கண்டு கொள்ளலாம்”  என்று கூறினார் .

 அந்த கிழவி கூறிய திட்டத்தின் படி, ஒரு பெரிய தங்கத்தால் ஆன சிங்கம் தயாரித்து, அதன் கண்கள் மட்டும் கண்ணாடியால் செய்யப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும். அதில் உள்ளே இருந்து சில இசை வெளிவரும் படி இருக்க வேண்டும் என்றும்  கூறினார்.  இதைக் கேட்டவுடன் அந்த மூன்றாவது மகனுக்கு அதிசயமாகவும், அதிர்ச்சியாகவும் இருந்தாலும் தன் சகோதரர்களை மீட்கவும், அந்த இளவரசியை தேடவும்,  அவருக்கு வேறு வழி தெரியவில்லை.  ஆகவே அந்தக் கிழவி கூறியபடி ஒரு தட்டானிடம் சென்று ஒரு தங்க சிங்கம் கிழவி கூறியபடியே செய்யச் சொல்லி வாங்கிக்கொண்டார்.  அதை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு அந்தக் கிழவியிடம் சென்றார் . அவர் அந்த மூன்றாவது மகனை அந்த சிங்கத்திற்குள் ஒளிந்து கொள்ளும்படி கூறினார்.  அந்த சிங்கத்தை ஆட்களை வைத்துக்கொண்டு, அரசனிடம் எடுத்துச் சென்றார். அரசருக்கு அந்த தங்க சிங்கத்தை பார்த்து அதை உடனே வாங்கிக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று தோன்றியது . அவர் அதன் விலை என்ன?  என்று கேட்டவுடன் அந்த கிழவி “இது என்னுடையது அல்ல.  நான் வேலை செய்யும் இடத்தில் அதன் சொந்தக்காரருக்கு சொந்தமானது. வேண்டுமானால் ஒரே ஒரு நாளைக்கு இந்த சிங்கத்தை தங்களுடைய அரண்மனையில் விட்டு வைக்கிறேன் . அதற்கு மேல் என்னால் ஒன்றும் செய்ய முடியாது . நான் நாளைக்கு  வந்து இதை திரும்ப பெற்றுக் கொள்கிறேன் “என்று கூறியவுடன் அந்த அரசனும் வேறு வழியில்லாமல் சம்மதித்தார் .

அந்தக் கிழவி அரண்மனையில் இருந்து வெளியேறியவுடன், அந்த சிங்கத்தை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு அரசன் தன்னுடைய அறைக்குச் சென்றார். அங்கு சென்று அந்த அறையின் தரையில் இருந்த சில செங்கற்களை நீக்கிவிட்டு அதன் கீழ் அமைக்கப்பட்டு இருந்த படி வழியாக கீழே இறங்கி செல்ல தொடங்கினார்.  ஒவ்வொரு கதவாக திறந்து கொண்டு , ஏழு கதவுகள் வழியாக சென்ற பிறகு கடைசியாக இருந்த கதவை திறந்தார். இதை  வியாபாரியின் மூன்றாவது மகன்,  சிங்கத்துக்கு உள்ளிருந்து அதன் கண்ணாடி கண் வழியாக இதையெல்லாம் தன் மனக் கண்ணில் குறித்துக் கொண்டார் .

சிறிது நாட்கள் சென்ற பிறகு, தன்னுடைய இரண்டு மூத்த சகோதரர்களை பற்றி எந்த தகவலும் வராததால் மூன்றாவது மகன் தன் தந்தையிடம் தனக்கு ஒரு கப்பலும் செல்வமும் கொடுத்தால் தான் தன் சகோதரர்களை தேடி அழைத்து வருவதாக கூறினார். அந்த வியாபாரிக்கும் வேறு வழி தெரியாததால்,  இதற்கும் சம்மதித்தார். மூன்றாவது மகனும் கப்பலில் ஏறி பயணம் செய்த போது , காற்றின் வழியே சென்று, ஒரு கடற்கரையில் தன் இரண்டு சகோதரர்களின் கப்பல் நிற்கும் இடத்திற்கு வந்து சேர்ந்தார்.

அவர் கண்ணிலும் அந்தப் பழைய, இளவரசியை தேடும் பலகை கண்ணில் பட்டது.  இப்பொழுது மூன்றாவது மகனுக்கு நிச்சயமாக தெரிந்து விட்டது, தன்னுடைய இரண்டு சகோதரர்களும் இளவரசியை தேடி அலைந்து கொண்டிருப்பார்கள் என்று. ஆனால் தன்னுடைய சகோதரர்களைப் போன்று இவர் நேராக அரசனைச் சென்று சந்திக்கவில்லை.  இளவரசியை கண்டுபிடிக்க தனக்கு சில விஷயங்கள் தெரிந்தால் சுலபமாக இருக்கும் என்று அவருக்கு தோன்றியது.  ஆகவே உடனடியாக அரண்மனைக்கு செல்வதை தவிர்த்து அங்கும் இங்கும் சிறிது நேரம் அலைந்து கொண்டிருந்தார். அப்பொழுது அவர் ஒரு கிழவி தெருவில் பிச்சை எடுத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பதை பார்த்தார்.  அந்த கிழவியுடன் பேச்சு கொடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும்போது.  அந்த கிழவி

“நீ ஏதோ பிரச்சனையில் சிக்கி இருக்கிறாய் என்று தோன்றுகிறது எனக்கு நீ உதவினால் நான் உனக்கு உதவ முடியும்” என்று கூறினார் . முதலில் தயங்கினாலும் இந்த கிழவியிடமிருந்து தனக்கு ஏதேனும் ஒரு உதவி கிடைத்தால் நல்லது என்று எண்ணினார். ஆகவே அவரிடம் அந்த விளம்பரப் பலகை பார்த்ததையும் , தன் இரு சகோதரர்களைப் பற்றியும் கூறி, அதைப்பற்றி தெரியுமா?  என்று கேட்டார். அதற்கு அந்தக் கிழவி சிரித்துக்கொண்டே “உன்னிடம் நிறைய செல்வம் இருந்தால் , என்னால் உனக்கு உதவ முடியும்”  என்று கூறினார். மூன்றாவது மகன்  அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்தாலும், அந்தக் கிழவி என்னதான் கூறுகிறார் என்று கேட்பதில் ஆவலாக இருந்தார். அந்த க் கிழவி கூறிய திட்டம் அவருக்கு அதிர்ச்சி அளிக்கக் கூடியதாக இருந்தது.

ஒரு ஊரில் ஒரு பணக்கார வியாபாரி இருந்தார் . அவருக்கு மூன்று மகன்கள் . முதல் மகன் தனக்கு இந்த உலகத்தை சுற்றிப் பார்க்க விருப்பம் இருப்பதால் அதற்கு உதவுமாறு தன் தந்தையிடம் கேட்டார் . அவர் “அதற்கு என்ன வேண்டும் ? “ என்று கேட்டபோது தனக்கு ஒரு கப்பலும் நிறைய பணமும் கொடுத்து உதவுமாறு கேட்டுக் கொண்டார்.  பணக்காரரும் அவ்வாறே செய்ய , முதல் மகன் தன்னுடைய கப்பல் பயணத்தை தொலைவில் உள்ள நாடுகளை பார்க்கும் எண்ணத்துடன் தொடங்கினார்.

சில தினங்களுக்கு பின் அவர் ஒரு பெரிய நகரத்தை அடைந்தார் . அங்கு கடற்கரையில் அவர் ஒரு விளம்பர அறிக்கையை பார்த்தார் . அதில் அந்த நாட்டின் அரசர்,  தன் மகளை யார் கண்டுபிடித்துக் கொடுக்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் தன் மகளை மணந்து அந்த நாட்டில் அரசர் ஆகலாம் என்று அறிவிப்பு ஆணை அதில் இருந்தது . இந்த பலகையை பார்த்தவுடன் முதல் மகனுக்கு வேறு ஒன்றும் தோன்றாமல் இந்த நகரத்தை தான் ஆள வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசை தோன்றியது . ஆகவே அவர் உடனே அரசனிடம் சென்று என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டார் . அதற்கு அரசன் , இளவரசி இந்த அரண்மனையில் தான் எங்கோ இருக்கிறார் . நீ எங்கு வேண்டுமானாலும் அவரை தேடலாம் . அவரை கண்டுபிடித்தவுடன் உனக்கு அவளை மணம் முடிப்பேன்.

ஆனால் கண்டுபிடிக்க எட்டு தினங்களுக்குள் முடியாது போனால் உன்னை கொன்று விடுவேன் , என்றதற்கு  அந்த மகன் தன் மேல் உள்ள நம்பிக்கையால் உடனே சம்மதித்தார் .  ஏனென்றால் அந்த அரண்மனையில் தானே  எங்கோ இளவரசி இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று நினைத்து சம்மதித்தார்.  அவருக்கு அந்த இளவரசியை கண்டுபிடிக்க எட்டு நாட்கள் தரப்பட்டது.

The Three Sons and the Golden Lion - Part Six

The next morning, the king had the golden lion taken back to the main palace.

True to her word, the old woman came and took the golden lion away with her.

The third son of the merchant came out of the golden lion and thanked the woman. From there, he went to the king and told the king that he wished to enter the competition to find the princess.

The third son remained at the castle and ate the food there. At times he would pretend to look around the castle for the princess. On the eighth day, he went to the king’s room and asked to remove the floor board there.

The king was shocked but he did what he was told. The other courtiers were watching and the king could not refuse in front of them.

From there, the third son traced the same path that the king had taken before.

The third son then walked through the staircase, the seven doors and unlocked it and found the twelve beautiful girls there.

The king behind was shocked.

But now the king was sure that this man could not identify the princess among the twelve beautiful girls.

The man easily brought the girl with the sash around her wrist.

Thus the merchant’s third son won the competition and he took the princess back to his own kingdom on a ship with plenty of riches. 

The third son did not forget the old woman who had made all this possible and he made sure that she was comfortable for the rest of her life.

The Three Sons and the Golden Lion - Part Five

Behind the seventh door, the third son who was hidden inside the golden lion was shocked.

The princess was there along with eleven other girls who looked like the princess and dressed like her.

The third son was not sure how he could identify the princess again.

Then the king started talking as he pointed at the golden lion. “I have this gift for you for today.”

The princess was thrilled to see it. She decided to keep it near her, for the night.

That night the third son looked at the princess from inside the golden lion and sighed out aloud. “Oh princess, you have no idea what I have gone through to find you.”

The princess was startled on hearing the words. She looked at her friends. “The lion spoke to me!”

Her eleven friends dismissed the princess’s words as irrelevant and went their way leaving the princess alone because they could not find anything wrong with the lion.

Finally when the princess was alone, the merchant’s son came out and spoke with the princess.

The princess was smitten on seeing the merchant’s third son and she fell in love with him.

She realized that the merchant's son would now be able to pass her father’s test and find her in the palace. But he would still not be able to identify her among the eleven other girls.

The princess was in love with the merchant’s third son and she decided to tie a sash around her wrists so that the merchant’s son may be able to identify her among all the other girls in the hidden place.

The Three Sons and the Golden Lion - Part Four

“Get a golden lion with crystal eyes and then make sure that there is something fixed in the golden lion that can play tunes.” The old woman told the third son.

The third son did not understand, but he found a goldsmith in the kingdom and created a golden lion exactly the way that the old woman had wanted.

The golden lion was created and the third son took the same to the old woman.

The old woman hid the third son inside the golden lion.

After that, the old woman took the golden lion to the king.

The king was thrilled to see the lion. “I want to buy this. Name your price.”

The old woman gravely shook her head. “This lion does not belong to me. It belongs to my master. My master would not sell this lion for any price.”

The king looked at the lion longingly. “In that case, leave that lion here for a few days. I want to show the lion to my daughter. I am sure that she would love looking at the lion.”

The old woman slyly shook her head. “I can leave the lion with you only for a day. No more than that. I will come back for it tomorrow.”

So the old woman left the lion with the king.

After that, the king made sure that the old woman had left the palace, and then the king took the golden lion with him and went to his room. 

In his room, the king opened some loose boards from the floor of the castle. From there, the king walked down a staircase which led to a door. The king opened a door and after that he crossed seven doors and unlocked the last one.

The merchant’s third son who was hiding in the golden lion saw all of this and made a mental note of it.

The Three Sons and the Golden Lion - Part Three

When no news was forthcoming from either of the two elder brothers, the third son of the merchant asked his father for a ship so that he could try to find the whereabouts of his brothers.

The merchant had no other choice and he agreed to this.

This time too, the winds blew the third son’s ship straight to the kingdom that his brothers had come to. 

The third brother also read the notice about finding the princess in the kingdom.

The third brother was fairly certain that his two elder brothers had tried to enter the competition and had failed.

Unlike his brothers, the third brother immediately did not enter the competition. He realized that he needed to find some more information about the palace, the competition and the king before he did anything.

When the third son looked around the kingdom, he found an old woman who begged him for some money.

At first the third son did not want to give her money, but the old woman was insistent. “You seem to be in trouble.” The old woman studied the third son with shrewd eyes. “If you tell me what the problem is, I may be able to help you.”

At first the third son hesitated. Then the third son realized that he might as well tell the old woman everything and told the old woman about his two elder brothers.

The old woman laughed when she heard the third son. “If you have enough money, I can help you.” The old woman told the third son.

The third son was flabbergasted, as he listened to the old woman’s plan.

The Three Sons and the Golden Lion - Part Two

All through the eight days, the first son searched every inch of the palace for the princess.

However, the first son of the merchant was unsuccessful in finding the princess.

So the first son was put to death by the king.

Meanwhile back in the first son’s kingdom, the merchant and his other two sons waited for some news about the first son. They became more and more anxious because they received no news of what had happened to the first son.

The second son could take it no more and talked with his father. “Father, give me another ship and some money. I want to find my elder brother.”

The merchant agreed to this.

This time too the winds blew the ship to the same kingdom as before.

The second son was shocked when his ship reached the shore of the kingdom. The second son saw the ship that the first son had used. Seeing that, the second son was convinced that his elder brother had come here.

He looked around the kingdom for his brother and that was when he saw the same notice about finding the princess. 

Somehow, the second son felt that his elder brother would have tried to find the princess and because there was no news about the elder brother, the elder brother had met his end.

After realizing this, the second brother also went to the king and tried his hand in trying to find the princess in the kingdom.

Unfortunately, the second brother failed in finding the princess in the palace and the second brother was also killed by the king.

The Three Sons and the Golden Lion - Part One

Once there was a merchant who had three sons. 

The first son wanted to see the world. The merchant happily granted this wish. The merchant had a beautiful and rich ship built for the first son.

The first son sailed away in this ship to see distant lands.

After some days, the first son arrived at a kingdom.

The first thing that the first son saw at the new kingdom was a strange board. The board proclaimed that if anyone found the king’s daughter within eight days, the person could have the princess as his wife.

As soon as the first son saw this, he could think of nothing else.

He finally decided to try his luck and the first son went and spoke with the king.

“The princess is somewhere in the palace, young man and you are free to look everywhere here.” The king’s eyes turned stern. “However, if you are not able to find the princess within eight days, I will kill you.”

The first son was confident that he could find the princess if she was indeed hidden in the palace somewhere.

He agreed to this condition.

The king had food and water given to the first son and opened up all the doors of the palace.

The first son was given eight days to find the princess.

The Boy and the North Wind - Part Four

 

This time however, the boy had a fairly good idea of what could have happened.

However the boy went to the North Wind for the third time. After he explained his problem to the North Wind, the North Wind was silent for a few minutes. “I have nothing more to give you other than a stick.” North Wind pointed at a stick in the corner of his house. “If you ask the stick to hit someone, it will hit them until you ask the stick to stop.”

The boy thanked the North Wind and went on his way.

This time too he reached the inn to stop for the night.

The landlord of the inn saw the boy and saw the stick in the boy’s hands. The landlord believed that the stick would be important and decided to steal it from the boy at night.

When the landlord thought the boy and all the other people in the inn were asleep, he crept up to the boy’s room.

The landlord had not even touched the stick, when the boy yelled at the stick to hit the person near it.

The landlord yelled and ran from the room. But the stick chased him and did not stop.

Finally the landlord asked the boy to call the stick off and promised to give the sheep and the cloth back to the boy.

The boy called off the stick. 

After that, the boy took his cloth and sheep and went back home. 

That was how the boy got back the meal that he had lost to the North Wind.

The boy went to North Wind's house again and told North wind that the cloth did not provide any food.

Though North wind was surprised on hearing it he did not say anything. 

Finally North wind decided to help the boy again and gave the boy a sheep. The sheep made gold coins as soon as the boy asked the sheep to make money.

The boy took the sheep and this time it was too, the boy could not get home in a single night. 

So he spent time in the same inn that he had done before.

However this time before spending time at the inn the boy decided to try the powers of the sheep to know whether it actually worked or not and also to make sure that he could pay the innkeeper after the night.

The sheep gave the boy a lot of money.

The landlord of the inn saw the power of the sheep and he became greedy. 

At night when the boy was fast asleep the landlord exchanged the sheep for another one of his own.

Unknown of all this, the boy took the sheep and went to his own.

When nothing worked in front of his mother, the boy realized that something was seriously wrong and decided to meet the North Wind again.

The Boy and the North Wind - Part Two

The boy stopped at an inn on the way home. He decided to start an inn exactly like this and using the cloth he could serve all the people and live his life.

Just to test the gifts of the North wind the boy spread the cloth on the table in the inn and said the words. “Cloth spread yourself and serve all kinds of good dishes.”

Everyone at the inn including the boy were stunned when every single variety of food cropped on the table.

After having his fill the boy went to sleep.

However the landlady of the inn saw the power of the cloth. 

She realized the power of the cloth and when all the guests of the inn were asleep she stole the cloth from the boy and put another one in place.

The boy woke up the next morning and he did not know that things had changed.

He went to his home and told his mother about the conversation with the North wind and the cloth that he had got.

His mother was eager to see the power of the cloth.

However when the boy tried the cloth at home nothing happened.

The boy realized that there had been a mistake and decided to talk to the North Wind again, about what had happened.
