Seeing the work done by the prince, Agnisikha, the Rakshasa was still not satisfied.
He asked Srungabhuja to go near a temple of Shiva, which was in a forest and Agnisikha asked Srungabhuja to announce his marriage to Rupasikha to a monster called Dhumasikha who was near the temple.
Dhumasikha was a very powerful monster and there was a chance he could kill Srungabhuja, and that was what Agnisikha wanted.
When Srungabhuja told Rupasikha her father's latest condition, Rupasikha was not too worried.
She gave Srungabhuja, a horse, a handful of earth, some water, some thorns and fire.
She asked him to ride the horse and go to the temple and announce their marriage there. Then she asked him to take the horse and gallop back as fast as possible. She told him that Dhumasikha would follow him and when he did, Srungabhuja had to throw the earth in the path behind him. Rupasikha was sure that the earth would be able to stop Dhumasikha or would at least delay him.
If Dhumasikha persisted, Srungabhuja was to throw the water, and after that, if Dhumasikha still followed Srungabhuja, then the prince was supposed to throw the thorns and finally the fire in the path behind him.
Using all these means, Rupasikha was confident that her magic would protect Srungabhuja and defeat Dhumasikha.
