Happy Hunter and Skillful Fisher - Part Six

After getting the hook back, Happy Hunter wanted nothing more than to go back to his own kingdom and give Skillful Fisher the hook back.

However, the Sea King wanted Happy Hunter to spend some more time in the realm of Ryn Gu.

Happy Hunter agreed to this request and stayed back for some more time.

Finally, it so happened that Happy Hunter lived in the realm of Ryn Gu for three full years.

Then suddenly Happy Hunter remembered his life back on the land.

He went to the Sea King and pleaded with him to let him go back home. “I have to govern my land and I have been absent there for a very long time. I have to return the fishing hook to my brother and ask for his forgiveness. Please do not stop me anymore.”

Sea King was sad at first, but finally agreed to Happy Hunter's request.

After that, the Sea King asked his two daughters to bring him the two Tides Jewels of the sea.

The two princesses glided into their rooms and brought two flashing gems in each of their hands. The gems filled the entire room with light.

Happy Hunter was stunned as he looked at it.

The Sea King waved at it and nodded at Happy Hunter. “These are two valuable placements that we have inherited from our ancestors. I give this to you as a parting gift. These two gems are called nanjiu and kanjiu.”

Happy hunter bowed low. “What can I do with them, your majesty?”

“The nanjiu is the jewel of the Flood Tide and whoever has it in his possession can command the sea to flood the land at any point of time. The kanjiu is called a jewel of the Ebbing Tide, and this gem controls the sea and the waves, and it can cause a tidal wave to recede at any time.”

The Sea King taught Happy Hunter how to use the two talismans.

While going back to the land, Sea King had sent for a large crocodile to take Happy Hunter back to the land.

So Happy Hunter did not need to use the basket boat which he had come here.

The crocodile took Happy Hunter back to land much faster than anything that Happy Hunter had expected.
